Properly structured personal lines insurance is very important to protecting a family’s assets.  It is embedded in our process as part of “Protect What you Have”.   FBO Strategies LLC is not an expert in this area.  If you have any questions about this subject please reach out to Howard & Gay Insurance.  They share FBO’s philosophy of putting the best coverage in place while also keeping premiums as low as possible.  Some basic rules to follow:

1. Utilize the highest deductible on home and auto that you are comfortable writing a check for. This will reduce premiums
2. Make sure you have liability or umbrella coverage. There is no bigger threat to a family’s wealth than a lawsuit.
3. Use a carrier that provides guaranteed replacement coverage.
